More books than you could shake a blog at

If you're at all interested in children's books, here's a monster reading-list, courtesy of the readers of the Freakonomics blog, where they asked for recommendations. The post had provoked 262 reactions as I type this, with not many repeats among the books mentioned in the small number I read, about 60 or so.
